How these guides are written
Every generation, year range, start type and protection listed comes from our fitment database, not from a brochure. Where a protection is not available on a particular vehicle, the guide says so — including the things no immobiliser can do, like stopping a vehicle being towed onto a flatbed. Crime figures come from the SAPS quarterly release, cited on each page.
